The Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 sailing area:
Inspiring new boats to change your horizon
Focus on 10 world premieres
Every year, the Cannes Yachting Festival is the unmissable gathering point for international recreational boating, where innovation, elegance and performance meet.
Since 2019, Port Canto has accommodated the Sailing Area, entirely dedicated to new sailing boats over 10 metres long. From 8 to 13 September, 120 monohulls and multihulls will be presented in water, confirming the leading position sailing has at the show.
With over 400 metres of quay dedicated to monohulls and over 450 metres to multihulls, the Sailing Area brings together the world’s largest fleet of large new sailing boats presented in water. On land, the stands of the boat builders, equipment manufacturers and service companies round out this offer entirely dedicated to sailing.
Port Canto , Sailing Area
"Sailing is a key part of the Cannes Yachting Festival. With 120 monohulls and multihulls brought together at Port Canto, the Sailing Area is a source of pure amazement for our visitors. It provides a spectacular view of how diverse and dynamic this sector is. This year, nearly one in five boats will be unveiled as world premieres, attesting to the creativity and expertise of boat builders that combine performance, comfort, innovation and the enjoyment of living at sea with great dedication.” Constance Brément, Director of the Cannes Yachting Festival
Among the many new products announced, the Show highlights ten models– five monohulls and five catamarans– from boat builders around the world, from Finland to France via China, and presented as world premieres: the AMEL 50.2, the CNB 62, the Grand Soleil 80 Plus Long Cruise, the New Y7, the Swan 80-301, the Aquila 45 Sail, the FP48, the Lagoon 47, the Leopard 43 and the WINDELO 55 Sport.
AMEL : AMEL 50.2 (Monohull)
Location: SAIL 053– Dimensions: L16.70m and W4.99 m– Boat builder based in France
The AMEL 50.2 changes the boat builder’s aesthetic codes while preserving its historical expertise in the field of long range cruising. Designed by Berret-Racoupeau, it stands out with its reverse bow, modernised hull and deep, particularly protected central cockpit. Its expanded living spaces and the increased surface area of its solar panels make it a yacht designed to travel far, comfortably and with great autonomy.
CNB YACHTBUILDERS: CNB 62 (Monohull)
Location: SAIL 065– Dimensions: L19.48m and W5.33m Boat builder based in Italy
The CNB 62 embodies a new vision of long-range cruising, designed to be handled with a reduced crew. Designed by Philippe Briand, this yacht combines elegance, comfort and ease of handling. Its large saloon bathed in light, its carbon arch that frees up the cockpit, and length-wise tender garage reflect design that is as refined as it is functional.
CANTIERE DEL PARDO : GRAND SOLEIL 80 PLUS LONG CRUISE (Monohull)
Location: SAIL 067– Dimensions: L26.2 m and W6.6 m– Boat builder based in Italy
As the new flagship of the Plus range, the Grand Soleil 80 Long Cruise is designed for sailors who dream of long cruises without sacrificing the enjoyment of performance. Its carbon rig, twin rudders and telescopic keel give it great versatility at sea, while its Torqeedo hybrid platform supports long-distance sailing. Designed by Cantiere del Pardo, Matteo Polli and Nauta, this ocean-going yacht combines technology, comfort and customisation with bright interiors and a carefully crafted separation between guest spaces and the crew space.
YYACHTS: NEW Y7(Monohull)
Location: SAIL 060– Dimensions: L21.99 m and W6.1 m– boat builder based in Germany
Redesigned by judel/vrolijk & co., the new Y7 continues YYachts’ philosophy of performance, simplicity and understated luxury. Its new asymmetrical entrance frees moving around the cockpit, while its more protected cockpit and U-shaped sofa increase comfort on board. Moving the engine room to a dedicated technical space, accessible from two points, also improves maintenance and separates living spaces from technical areas more clearly.
NAUTOR SWAN:SWAN80-301 (Monohull)
Location: SAIL 058– Dimensions: L25.55 m and W6.4 m– Boat builder based in Finland
The Swan 80-301 monohull opens a new chapter for Nautor Swan by combining the spirit of a large cruiser-racer yacht with a more agile approach to sailing. Designed by Germán Frers, with exterior design by Lucio Micheletti and interiors designed by Misa Poggi, it combines clean lines and performance with spaciousness and great freedom of design. Its flexible cockpit and twin helm stations make it easy to switch between sailing and relaxation.
AQUILA : AQUILA 45 SAIL (Multihull)
Location: SAIL 028– Dimensions: L13.42 m and W7.65 m– Boat builder based in China
As the second model in the Aquila sailing range, the 45 Sail prioritises space, cruise comfort and relaxing and socialising on board. Its fixed foredeck houses a lounge area, while the open flybridge and rear cockpit, laid out in the continuation of the saloon, create several living spaces looking out at the sea. With its wide glazed openings and three or four cabin configurations, the Aquila 45 Sail is suitable for both private use and rental programmes.
FOUNTAINE PAJOT : FP48 (Multihull)
Location: SAIL 007– Dimensions: L14.92 m and W7.9 m Boat builder based in France
As the successor to the Tanna 47, the FP48 embodies a new generation of sailing catamarans from Fountaine Pajot. Its wide glazed window creates continuity between the rear cockpit and the saloon, while its central kitchen, front cockpit and Lounge Deck multiply the spaces to relax and socialise looking out at the sea. It is available in Maestro or Quatuor versions, and combines on-board living comfort, freedom of design and energy autonomy thanks to its integrated solar panels and ODSea+ solution.
LAGOON CATAMARANS :LAGOON47 (Multihull)
Location: SAIL 005- Dimensions: L14.95m et l7.96m- Boat builder based in France
Born from the desires of its owners and Lagoon's expertise, the Lagoon 47 places smooth circulation and freedom of layout at the heart of life on board. Its door connecting the forward cockpit directly to the saloon transforms this space into a true additional room, while the flybridge offers a new living area open to the ocean. Thanks to its modular smart room, its various cabin configurations and its customizable interior ambiances, the Lagoon 47 adapts to every sailing project.
LEOPARD : LEOPARD 43 (Multihull)
Location: SAIL 009– Dimensions: L12.97 m and W7.04 m– Boat builder based in South Africa
The Leopard 43 opens up a new generation of more sporty, more responsive sailing catamarans with the focus still on cruising comfort. Its reverse bow hulls and optimised sail plan promote performance at sea, while its wide windows provide panoramic visibility and exceptional light inside. Between the rear cockpit, the saloon and the relaxation area on the roof, near the helm station, the spaces have been designed to create smoother flow and enhance relaxing and socialising on board.
WINDELO : WINDELO55 SPORT(Multihull)
Location: SAIL 015– Dimensions: L16.24 m and W7.98 m– Boat builder based in France
The Windelo 55 Sport confirms the brand’s sporty positioning in the field of long-range cruising. Designed for offshore performance, this catamaran combines a generous sail plan with extended carbon daggerboards, offering a controlled balance between speed and navigation comfort. It is a design that allows you to fully enjoy sailing sensations while maintaining the stability and user-friendliness of the multihull.
These ten world premieres illustrate the depth and variety of an edition that will bring together the entire spectrum of international recreational boating, from the Vieux Port to Port Canto. Motor boats and sailing boats, monohulls and multihulls, new and pre-owned boats, equipment, toys, marinas, services and innovations will provide a unique panorama of the major trends shaping today’s recreational boating.
