BLOC MARINE
Created in 2012 by METEO CONSULT, Le Figaro Nautisme was born from the desire to offer a media outlet entirely dedicated to those who live the sea as a passion.
Now part of the Figaro Group, Le Figaro Nautisme has become a key player in nautical information, both online and in print.
The adventure began with a website. It quickly expanded into a true editorial ecosystem: the acquisition of Bloc Marine, the publication of annual special editions, and more recently, the launch of the Bloc Marine mobile app.
Le Figaro Nautisme now relies on four complementary pillars:
- figaronautisme.com
The leading website for all sea lovers: boaters, sailors, water sports enthusiasts, sailing fans and industry professionals. It features news, in-depth articles, travel stories and topics that connect the sea with adventure and innovation.
- Le Figaro Nautisme Special Editions
Since 2018, these free, large-format magazines have highlighted powerful images and engaging storytelling. They feature exclusive interviews with key nautical figures, reports on trends, equipment, innovations and the most inspiring boats. Distributed with Le Figaro and at key locations along the coast, they bring summer to life on every page.
- Bloc Marine
A true sailor’s bible, updated yearly, it gathers everything a boater needs onboard: charts, regulations, and practical information on hundreds of ports. An essential, it’s the gold standard among nautical guides.
- Bloc Marine App
The sea, in your pocket. Available on iOS and Android, the app extends the Bloc experience in digital form. From port to port, beach to beach, anchorage to anchorage, it delivers enriched content, practical sheets, and smooth navigation throughout the French coasts and beyond.
Through its media, publications, and tools, Le Figaro Nautisme promotes a vision: a nautical world that is vibrant, accessible, and inspiring.
