METEO CONSULT, founded in 1988 and part of the Figaro group since 2008, is a private meteorological consultancy with its own information technology resources and a team of experienced meteorologists in charge of forecasting.

To widen its offer in the maritime sector, METEO CONSULT bought Bloc Marine in 2011 and created the Figaronautisme.com website in 2012.

METEO CONSULT is designed for professionals but also for yachtsmen and yachtswomen through its free internet services marine.meteoconsult.co and its free mobile apps available in four languages for iPhone, iPad and Android.

METEO CONSULT offers, in its website and apps, an exclusive feature: the 1st shipping forecast comparison tool. It is able to show, on a single screen, the forecasts from the most viewed models in France: the METEO CONSULT model, the American GFS model, the Météo-France ARPEGE model and the open source WRF model.
